‘Quit on high’. This is that high film. Actress turned MP Ramya disclosed at the media meet at Mysore Lamps on the sets of her said to be last film ‘Aryan’ that stars century star Shivarajakumar. I may come back one day as sister of Shivanna, Ramya pointed. As of now politics keeping me busy and before April 5th I would complete dubbing as the guidelines have to be strictly followed she said.

Later speaking to media persons Ramya said it is inevitable for me as I have a series of people oriented work as MP. I have to take up the coming MP elections she stated with strong hope and smile.’

Here are the excerpts of a chat with darling of masses Ramya:

·         I have four days of work left for ‘Dil Ka Raja’ and promised to shoot after elections. ‘Neer Dosai’ is in court, I should not speak anything. For Kodi Ramakrishna film I have finished everything. I have nothing on hand and only politics.

·         My strategy for the people is to go to people. In Eight taluks there are 1975 books and I have given practical approach meeting the people and solving their problems as far as possible.

·         I did research to go to Parliament and address. On the sugar cane growers issue I raised the point of using Ethanol and save the farmers. India is the second highest sugar cane growing country. I have focused on natural resources to safeguard. I discussed on corpus fund for farmers of sugarcane. It was liked by Parliament the last day happened to be my first speech.

·         As for as procuring MP fund for my nine months tenure I was successful in getting Rs.2.5 crores out of Rs.5 crores .

·         My perspectives are going good. Unless I meet people, I will not know the problems. I got a call from my office in Mandya an old man had come to thank me for the approval of his pension. There are small things that we have to give attention and people are satisfied.

·         My nature is also against to some of the qualities of politician. I would not spend like others at the election. No liquor and no money for winning votes. Only my work has to win for me. People are also very intelligent. They recognize the work done.

·         My three agenda for Mandya for next MP election as manifesto is Education, Health and build police chowkies. In a place like Bangalore for 1.1 crore popular there are 1600 policemen.

·         MARRIAGE – it happens and like my entry to films and politics was not decided but it happened, marriage is also like that. My friend Raphel has gone to Portugal.

·         Had I married and blessed with children I would not have allotted so much of attention to my people. So as of now, I would concentrate on work and my constituency people.

·         My policy in this political life is not to answer any critics or opponents. Do my work is my principle. My Dad Gundappa was so close to all politicians and I was only seeing such big personalities. On his wish I came to politics. I miss him absolutely today.

·         I would evaluate creativity and take suggestions from people for good of the people.

·         I am staying in Sadat Ali Khan house in Mandya with my mother.
